It's that time of year again! Over the last month, every industry (and I mean every industry) released their take on what trends to look for in 2018.
Everyone is inundated with predictions for the next 12 months.....So how about one more? What if I promise this one's a little bit different.
When I design learning experiences I pull the latest and greatest from many different disciplines. Sure there are ID-specific trends, but if I ignored what's big in color, web design, and tech my project would look totally out of whack...or at least dated, which is enough to turn learners off from the very beginning.
I didn't feel like writing out a long, boring post for this so I threw all of the information into Powtoon. Using one of their predesigned templates, a few blank slides, and some pictures, I finished this in about six seconds (alright, maybe more like 20 minutes, but still--super fast).
Being cognizant of trends in every industry (most industries, at least) allows me to design using all pieces of the puzzle. What 2018 trends are you looking forward to the most? Which ones do you think will be a flash in the pan?
